The Responsible Hospitality Institute (RHI) brings four decades of experience in monitoring trends and convening forums at the local, state, national and international level on nighttime planning, management and safety. Since 2000, RHI assisted more than 80 North American cities develop strategies. RHI events unite a global network to dedicated to improving the social experience of residents and visitors.

The Academy faculty will include three of RHI's senior staff to guide discussion and assist you and your team to develop the foundation of a comprehensive action plan.
RHI founder and president Jim Peters is an internationally recognized leader in advancing innovation and campaigns, from early work in responsible beverage service training to recent focus on public safety and policing nightlife districts, building alliances, and guiding the creation of nightlife offices.
Alicia Scholer is RHI's vice president with 16+ years of facilitating events, coordinating city assessments, and preparing comprehensive action plan reports. She has led women’s focus groups in three countries building unique expertise in "What women want in nightlife."
Jocelyn Kane lead facilitator and policy analyst joined RHI following 15 years with the San Francisco Entertainment Commission, retiring as the executive director. She brings her insights into government processes and systems.
