I am the Board Chair of the Marshall-New Era Neighborhood Association (MNENA), a volunteer-led organization that enhances the livability and social cohesion of our vibrant midtown Sacramento neighborhood. Since 2005, I have been involved in MNENA's monthly board meetings, bi-monthly social events, and various initiatives that foster communication and collaboration among residents, government agencies, and other local stakeholders.

In addition to my board leadership role, I am a social media marketing consultant with over five years of experience in managing Facebook and Instagram accounts, and assisting clients with advertising on these platforms. I use my skills and expertise to promote and support fundraisers, issues, causes, and Sacramento-area non-profits that align with my values and passions. I have been a long-time advocate for the rights and well-being of LGBTQ people and BIPOC communities, serving on several boards, committees, and organizations, such as Golden Rule Services, Stonewall Democratic Club of Greater Sacramento; Latino Democratic Club; the Sacramento LGBT Community Center; and the Latino Center of Art and Culture. I’m a proud recipient of the Spirit of Stonewall Award (San Diego Pride 2015); and the Public Policy and Advocacy Award (Capitol LGBTQ Association 2018) for my extensive service and contributions to the LGBTQ community.
