Industry Shouts Stop: State Issues

In an age of increasing regulation and legislation, grass-roots participation is becoming a political necessity. At the local level, an array of issues are emerging as priorities: for example, customers want nonsmoking areas, and most restaurateurs have worked the situation out. Although the industry has avoided many problems through server training programs, these issues show signs of heating up within the next several years. Currently, industry leaders are calling for a new spirit of cooperation.
